EM.CUBE's PhysicalOptics.module is a 3-D asymptotic simulator for modeling of electromagnetic scattering from metal structures. An alternative to the more time consuming full-wave simulators like FDTD and MoM, the Physical Optics (PO) technique provides faster computational speed when simulating scattering of plane waves from large metallic surfaces or radiation of antennas in the presence of large metallic scatterers.
EM.CUBE's PhysicalOptics.module features a powerful iterative PO simulation engine that can handle multiple shadowing and multi-bounce reflections over concave surfaces with phenomenal speed. Beside conventional excitation sources, you can fly in distributed Huygens surface sources generated in the other modules for simulation of coupling and platform interaction effects.
