INTRODUCING MyCUBE: EMAGWARE'S NEW WEB PORTAL

MyCUBE is a web environment that facilitates communication and contact among us, the developers, and you, the users, and all our partners and collaborators. It features a host of communication, computation and web publishing utilities that allow the members to initiate or participate in live chats, report issues or ask for technical assistance, process, share or broadcast all kinds of data, and get immediate access to a wealth of information and documentations. 

MyCUBE has been designed towards the goal of creating a broad web-based user community. The members of MyCUBE community share simulation and other technical data, knowledge and expertise either within secure, private, colleague groups or broadcast at the larger community level. MyCUBE will be a very dynamic and fast evolving web portal. It literally changes by day, and lots of new features, tools, applets, etc. are added to it on a daily basis. Even the contents of the manuals, tutorials, project examples, etc. are routinely improved and augmented.

MyCUBE: YOUR GATEWAY TO EM.CUBE

When you REQUEST A DEMO of EM.CUBE, upon approval, you are set up with a new password-protected personal MyCUBE account. Here you can download the demo software, create and manage your licenses, receive application updates, and request for technical support.

Packed inside the MyCUBE portal you'll find a wealth of tools and resources to help put EM.CUBE to work for you. Access downloadable content such as project files, supporting data, tutorials and training materials, as well as intuitive, easy-to-use, engineering calculation and data visualization tools.

MyCUBE was created from the ground up to be accessible from any location using just about any computing device available. This means that you can access the most up-to-date EM.CUBE releases and associated training resources anytime day or night from anywhere in the world. You can upload and store your EM.CUBE projects and data or media files for yourself or other colleagues to access from remote locations.

Is it safe? We've made every effort to ensure that all communications and files sent or stored via your MyCUBE account are secure. Full off-site backups occur on a daily basis while triple-redundant mirrored drives insure millisecond data accuracy and security. For more information, please review our PRIVACY POLICY.

PRIVACY POLICY
(effective as of July 30, 2009)

PREFACE

MyCUBE is a composite of web tools and services hosted within www.emagware.com. Access to the MyCUBE suite of tools and services is granted to approved registrants. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and use personal information shared by you and to help you, the MyCUBE user, make informed decisions. If you have questions or concerns regarding any aspect of this policy, please contact EMAGWARE at collaborate@emagware.com.

Activation and usage of your MyCUBE account signifies acceptance of all practices described within this Privacy Policy. Dispute resolution provisions, including arbitration and limitation on damages, are outlined within this Privacy Policy as well as within the Terms of Use Agreement. EMAGWARE reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately. Material changes will take effect from 30 days after the date of posting on the EMAGWARE site. When changes are implemented, EMAGWARE will update the revised policy terms and will indicate at the top of this page the new effective date. Active MyCUBE users will be notified of privacy policy changes by email and via instant message notification on their MyCUBE home page. EMAGWARE encourages you to accasionally re-read this policy to insure all aspects are fully understood. Unless otherwise stated, the conditions set forth within this policy applies to all information EMAGWARE collects about you and your account.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you visit MyCUBE you provide us with two types of information; personal information you knowingly disclose, and usability information collected by EMAGWARE from interaction with the various web pages hosted on our servers.

When you register with MyCUBE a user profile is automatically created. To activate this profile you must provide several pieces of information including; your full name, email address, telephone number and street address. Other types of personal information can be added to your profile at your discression; additional information might include your gender, educational history or employment history.

Whenever you log into MyCUBE, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all MyCUBE visitors. As you interact with MyCUBE, you may customize your personal profile, form relationships, send messages, perform searches and queries, create groups, set up events, and transmit information through various channels. Usability data is collected on these and other interactions so that EMAGWARE can provide consistant service and personalized features. In most cases, all user interaction data is retained so that, for instance, you can return to view prior messages sent or easily access your collegues list. When you update profile information, we retain a backup copy of the most recent version prior to the modifaction. This profile backup is stored within the MyCUBE servers for a short period of time.

All user content posted on MyCUBE is done so at your own risk. MyCUBE provides a variety of privacy options that you can use to limit access to sensitive data. However, no security measure is perfect or impenetrable. You are encouraged to refraim from posting any information you do not wish publicly disclosed. EMAGWARE makes no guarantees insuring against unauthroized access of any public or private user content stored within your MyCUBE profile. EMAGWARE will not be held responsible for the circumvention of any privacy setting or security measure.

You acknowledge that even after account cancellation copies of user content may remain viewable in cached and/or archived pages and may also continue to be accessible by users who have copied or stored this user content.

Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on MyCUBE should be immediately reported to collaborate@emagware.com.

USE OF INFORMATION

When you establish a MyCUBE account, you are creating a personalized profile with adjustable privacy settings. Profile information is stored so that it can be recalled and edited by you when you access the service. Your profile information, as well as your name, email and profile photo, are displayed to any MyCUBE user (Collegue) or networks that you specify in your privacy settings. In some cases when your privacy settings permit (such as posting to your "whiteboard"), other MyCUBE users may be able to add information to one or more of your profile pages.

Profile information submited to EMAGWARE is available to users of MyCUBE who belong to one or more of the networks you allow access via your privacy settings (e.g., school, geography, friends of friends). Your name, network names, and profile picture thumbnail are also available in search results across the MyCUBE network. These same pieces of information may also be made available to third party search engines (such as Google or Yahoo). We provide this basic information to third party search portals to allow collegues to locate you and connect with you. Third party search results that display your MyCUBE profile do not provide access to any additional MyCUBE profile information.

EMAGWARE may occasionally access your name and email address to send personalized notifications regarding relevant products and services you may find valuable. EMAGWARE also sends service-related announcements. For instance, if a collegue sends you a new message you may receive an email notification. You can opt out of all voluntary emails from the Notifications page, EMAGWARE retains the right to send important notices about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.

YOUR CHOICES

Access and control over most personal information on MyCUBE is readily available through profile editing tools. MyCUBE users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Profile changes are executed immediately. Individuals who wish to deactivate their MyCUBE account may do so by contacting EMAGWARE at collaborate@emagware.com. Deactivated profile information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time. Deactivated account information is not actively published to any member of MyCUBE.

Please be aware that messages sent to other MyCUBE users and/or data shared with these users cannot be permanently removed. Messages from you to other users will persist within their profile message box. Data shared by you such as project files, images or computation data can be locally stored by any registered MyCUBE user who had access to such data. EMAGWARE cannot be held responsible for the use of any data that continues to reside on external hard disks, DVD/CD media, flash drives or any other storage medium.

SECURITY

EMAGWARE exercises a rigorous set of precautions to protect MyCUBE user information. All account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, EMAGWARE discourages sending private information to us via email or instant messaging services. COOKIES & SESSION VARIABLES

A cookie is a data file created and stored on a user's computer that retains information about that user. EMAGWARE uses session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. Cookies function as your identification card and enable EMAGWARE to record your MyCUBE passwords, purchases, and preferences. MyCUBE cookies are not executable code and can not infect your computer with viruses.

Most browsers are configured to accept cookies. You can however, set your browser to notify you when the set new cookie command is recieved. When activated, cookie notification typically occurs each time a visited site needs to store data locally to yourcomputer. Cookie notification allows you to choose whether or not to accept this cookie creation. MyCUBE requires proper authorization to gain access to the content contained within. Therefore, users who disable cookies will be unable to fully access the MyCUBE portal.
